BIOGRAPHY
Eileen Petzold-Bradley works for Nova Southeastern University (NSU) as an Internal Communications Editor/ BEDI Council in the Public Relations and Marketing Division. Through her own company EPBradley Coaching, she works as a Learning & Development Consultant and Conflict Coach with diverse teams and executives, facilitating, moderating, and providing transformative guidance through complex individual and workplace conflicts. Eileen is a Ph.D. candidate at NSU’s Department of Conflict Resolution Studies and also an Adjunct Faculty instructor. She is a member of the Ombud’s Committee of the American Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section, International Ombudsman Association, International Council Online Dispute Resolution, and the Association for Conflict Resolution.
Recently, Eileen worked as a Senior Instructional Designer at the University of Miami, providing training, communication, and change management strategies for IT-related projects and services for university employees. Eileen also served as the Educational Outreach & Learning Director for BRDGES Academy, providing IMI certifications and training for mediators and conflict resolution professionals. Eileen worked with professionals from various industries and sectors, providing career and life coaching in Berlin, Germany. Previously, Eileen ran her own business and taught clients of all ages at her English Language Center in Berlin, Germany. She was also the Master Franchisor & Area Business and Marketing Coordinator for Berlin and Brandenburg for the Helen Doron Educational Group.
Eileen has solid intercultural communication skills to influence negotiations positively and is an engaging and compelling public speaker. Eileen led various environmental and security projects for research think tanks and non-governmental organizations, including the Institute for Biodiversity, Adelphi Research, the German Institute for International and Security Affairs, the Environmental Protection Encouragement Agency, and Ecologic. Eileen also coordinated and organized conferences and workshops for the German Federal Foreign Office and the German Ministry of the Environment and worked as a Latin American security analyst for the US Army.
Eileen is an American and Panamanian and has lived in Europe, the USA, and Panama. She is fluent in English and German and has an excellent working knowledge of Spanish. Eileen holds several coaching certifications (Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching and Systemic Coaching from the European Coaching Association), a Master’s degree in urban & Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia, and a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies & Spanish from George Mason University.
